Many of you (the “old time” followers (aka my mom)) may remember me talking about how Landon had such a fear of water. We tried everything to get him in – and he finally made it near the end of the summer. We joined the local gym, where they have a heated (bathtub) pool and that really helped to get Landon into the water.
We also enrolled him in swim lessons. He goes to this place that is indoors so he’s able to go swimming year round. He has made such great progress, I am SO proud. The boy that wouldn’t even put his feet in the water was doing this last week:
He has a great time and has a fantastic teacher. They earn ribbons based on ability level, they follow the colors of the rainbow for increasing difficulty. My little man has his orange ribbon now and I think that very soon will be moving on to yellow.
