When we moved to Chico I joined a great mom’s group. We have weekly play dates and several activities each month for the kiddos (and moms!). This last event was a fire station tour. Landon has been to a few before – once when I was still teaching he came along for the field trip, and a few others with the mom’s group I was a part of in Yuba City.
The fire station was a small one, but one of the fire fighters was the husband of one of our moms, so we knew the tour would be great.
While we were there, they got a call so the kids got to see them drive away with lights and sirens – it was great! When they came back the children got to sit in the truck, watch the fire man put on all his gear, and even got to spray the water from the hose!
